Two years from date, but counts against your scores for only 12months.

Thanks.  Now for part II of my question if I may.   How many inq. till a score is affected?

New to the boards and trying to figure out all this stuff (inq, hard inq, soft inq, etc., etc..)

IMO- 1 won't do anything. 

So I guess the answer to your question could be 2.
