So yesterday with my new Amex approval of the new card only was approved for 2k CL (yuck lol).. Anyways I assume that is do to my 70kish+ exposure with them.. Anyways so I tried to move some of my ED CL to the new Magnet card and got 7-10 days.. Was a bit confused as ED is 4+ year old card and moved limits around alot with it.. Finally got on the phone with someone from Amex last night it is due to me moving 10k from the SPG business to my Blue Business card within the last 30 days... They have a rule one CL reallocation per 30 days.. Seems a bit strange to me, but whatever he said do it on the 24th of this month and it will go through just fine.. Just for anyone else that might have or might experience this in the future.. My ED card is basically worthless other then the 1990 backdate so won't be closing it for that reason but the Blue Business gives me 2x on all purchases vs. ED at 1 or 1.2 depending no real thought which one gets the swipes. So with that said will be moving 25K at least of my ED credit line to the Magnet card as no need for that CL on the ED card. Anyways long story short one credit reallocation with Amex business or personal every 30 days.
