Invitation for Paypal Mastercard

Whenever I log in to my paypal account, I see this invitation. Is it a preapproval?

No, just an invitation. Many of us get it, doesnt mean you wont be approved but you may not be approved either depending on your credit report.

Never received a PayPal invite 🤔

I got the same invite, and was approved in minutes.  Good luck!

Not a guarantee approval. Doesn't seem like you really need it? otherwise you would have it already?

I wouldn't apply just because the invite it's there

I’ve been getting those emails to apply for the card for about 2 months now. I’ve had some credit problems a couple years ago but since then I have turned it around. The damage it caused is still there but banks are starting to trust me again. I finally decided to apply for this card, even though I let a couple other cards from Synchrony get Charged Off. I’ve settled the balances with them and was thinking they’d never approve me again. To my surprise though, they gave me a $2,000 limit for this card.

how long ago was that charged off account paid off? My scores are now in the 690’s, and i want to get a Lowe’s card, but i too had a charge off from synchrony that was paid off in March of 2017.

I settled the balances back in August 2017.
