Invitation from Amex?

"Enjoy the benefits of card membership" was the title of the email I received today. It is telling me to choose between the green or gold charge cards. My Amex prepaid card just hit 6 months and I've been an AU on the BCE card since march. I pay my own bill on the BCE card from my bank account and have been running bout $100 a month on prepaid card. I'm very tempted!

Ignore email soliciations.

1. Unlike actual prescreened offers they cost nothing hence they are almost never actual prescreened offers.

2. They are also phishing techniques fraudsters use.

Just ignore them all.

I have reestablished credit over the last couple years
so my moniker is, well, rather out of date.

Re: Invitation from Amex?

Got the same email today at exactly 11:06 EST.  The ad said "which card suits the way you live".  Delete.  I already have Zync, I will bite when they send me invites for the BCE or BCP.  Heehee.  Smiley Very Happy

Heh, nice. I like that. I'll stay with the Zync until Im prime enough to get an Amex revolver. Don't need a $95 AF or a $125 AF charge card.

Try the prequalifier on AMEX's site, see if those cards come up. If not, I would not apply IMO.

Same here. Got that email today even though I already have a gold card.
