Is 7-10 day message from Comenity always a denial?

I applied for a Victorias Secret card. I got the dreaded 7-10 day message. I have applied for cards in the past and most often I got an immediate denial. (I am in the re-building stage)....Has anyone actually been approved for a card through Comenity even after the 7-10 day message?

with comenity it could go either way, there is a good chance that its verification. Either way, they are going to send you a letter and if its verification, they provide you with reference number and phone number. usually the letter comes right at the end of the 14 day window, so watch your mail.

No, not always, but if they do deny you, don't fret, they did you a big favor. Comenity denials are blessings in disguise,

It varies on if you'll get approved. Best of luck on it though!
