Is CHASE 'courting' me with SLATE?

Soooo, about a month ago I was instantly approved for CSP and Freedom, $15k and $6k.

Since then, I've been receiving SLATE pre-approvals weekly.

Are they trying to get me to go for the CHASE tri-fecta or what?

It is tempting I must say.

I dont think I would be taking advantage of it since you just opened 2 accounts with them last month. Dont want to bring attention to self by getting too many at once.

Sure sounds like it, huh? Congrats on those other approvals. And awesome CL with CSP. Who did they pull when you app'ed for those?

Do you have a need for a BT card? Your other cards are much more than sufficient if not. You could always open a Chase checking account if you want an extra 10% earned on your Freedom points, LOL

Re: Is CHASE 'courting' me with SLATE?

cole- They pulled EX and EQ.  I did the apps within minutes of each other online.  The same pulls were used for both.

I did think about opening a checking acct with them.  I think I will pass on the slate.  I don't need it.

Nice! I didn't realize that Chase might use same pull for two apps. I wonder how regular this is.

Re: Is CHASE 'courting' me with SLATE?

same has been happening to me. All of a sudden the last couple months, every week a new piece of mail from chase offering a slate pre-approval.

I originally had a Sapphire and Freedom,  i consolidated it all into the Freedom 8 months ago.

I apped for both on the same day and got 1 pull on EX and EQ. my acceptance letter included an equifax score (for the freedom, one rate for the sapphire means no score given)

Re: Is CHASE 'courting' me with SLATE?

Since your Freedom CL is so much lower than your CSP's, I have a feeling you've already hit your internal limit with Chase.
