Is CITI CLI button an HP?

Does anyone know if requesting a CLI via CITI's website is an HP?

It depends on the wording, what does yours say?

Re: Is CITI CLI button an HP?

Here's the statement regarding continuing with the CLI request...

It's easy to find out if you qualify for a credit limit increase. By clicking "Continue" you understand that we will obtain a credit bureau report to evaluate your request. Our credit department will review your request within 24 hours.

?????  Not not if this means HP.

Yes, this is an HP.  The other option you might see is:

It's easy to find out if you qualify for a credit limit increase. A credit bureau report will not be requested and you will receive an instant decision.

These seem to switch around, recently the second message was on 3 of my 4 cards, now only on one (the one I just got a CLI on as it happens!)

If you get denied for the SP do you have to wait another 6 months to try again?

For you it will be a HP.

If it was SP, it would say: "we will NOT obtain a credit bureau report...."

I have the same question. No one knows so far. I was denied for the SP but I haven't had any CLI in 4 years. Do I have to wait 6 months for another SP CLI button?
