Saw on Slickdeals that you get 60,000 bonus points with the Chase Ink Plus Business Card (after you spend $5,000 in the first 3 months). Points transfer 1:1 to partner airlines, seems pretty good.
How difficult is this card to get?
I got the Ink Cash over a year ago with lower 700s on TU. I wouldn't say it's the easiest card to get but it's not the hardest either. Other factors will matter: Your Business and nature and of other cards will factor in.
I was initially approved for only $3500 limit since I had no other prime card at the time....just a Cap1 Plat starter card and a Citi Diamond preferred.....with only $1k and $1.5k limits at the time. YMMV
1. This should probably be in the business card forum, where this has been discussed repeatedly.
2. You can list yourself as sole proprietor and use your SSN in place of an EIN. Expect to be declined or pended and to have to speak with business recon. They will want to know about your business, expected income, expected spending, etc. Be honest. Lots of people have been approved with businesses like ebay reselling, selling stuff on etsy, etc. My wife just got one this week based on consulting work she does 3-4x/year that generated less than 5k in income last year.
3. In general, if you qualify for other top tier chase cards (csp, hyatt, ritz carlton), you will qualify for the ink cards. The big difference is if you have delinquencies/charge-offs on your report. Personal recon will often approve with a good explanation. Per my banker, business recon is less likely to do so. That is why my wife applied and I did not (still have 6yo charge-offs waiting to go away).
The promotion was running from last Sunday to yesterday, so you may not get the higher bonus if you apply today. As long as you have good credit, it's not that difficult. Someone before said Chase was starting to crack down on people who didn't have a legitamate business and were asking for documents and such to prove the person did have a business.
I usually find it pretty easy if you have a business checking account with them it is easier to get approved as a start up for chase business cards. And they tend not to check deep into your business to see if its legitimate when you have a business checking as well.
The business part is not a problem, we have a solid business that has been up and running since 2005 (Corp. S). Problem is the credit a bit, I've had several charge offs with Chase in the past and even though they were over 7 years ago and have fallen off my credit reports, I have a feeling in Chase's internal system they will still see them and deny me.

Try it, the offer is good thru tomorrow due to extensions. If you have to recon to discuss things the questioning is pretty simple stuff, things you would know off hand as a business owner.
I'm holding three different Ink cards. Got my last one early this past week. Did not need to recon but it wasn't instant. I logged into my Chase online and saw a new account before I got the email letting me know I got the card. Seems I was approved one day after applying. I am guessing they are very busy approving cards this week.
I'd go for it, since this is the best non-targetted sign up bonus we've seen in a while.
