Is it possible to get 2 chase cards in one day?

Hi there I am looking into entering the waters of the chase ultimate rewards. I want a freedom card and a sapphire prefered card. Can I apply for both in the same day?

Re: Is it possible to get 2 chase cards in one day?

I've read posts on here of people applying for csp being approved then applying for the 2nd card in the same day. The ones that stay under the 5/24 rule with both cards and don't have a bunch of unreported cards about to show up on their cr seem to turn out fine. The posters that app spree then apply for chase or who's 2nd card is 6/24 usually report that their card is closed a month later.

Yes.  I applied and was approved for 2 Chase cards yesterday.  CSP and Amazon.  Sometimes you get lucky and HPs can be combined.  I got double pulled for the CSP, but not pulled at all for the Amazon; I assume the Amazon used the CSP pulls from an hour or so earlier.

Thanks for the feedback.   How about getting cards in the same "family" so to speak? This blogger mentions that he was approved for both the reserve and the preffered.  Those are the two I am thinking of.  My credit score is 780 so I should be good there.  I see that you got the AMAZON card but that is not in the same faimily so to speak.   Make sense?  Thanks for any feedback.

The Amazon card is co-branded if that's what you mean.

In your original post you said Freedom and CSP?

You can open 2 of the UR cards on the same day so long as you have not opened any other Chase accounts in 30 days and you aren't at or above 5/24.

Assuming your profile is good, then yes you can. I was approved for the Chase Freedom (7k) and Freedom Unlimited (7k) the same day. This was months after being approved for Chase Sapphire Reserve (13k). Just make sure you don't run into the 5/24 Rule they have with the cards by applying with too many Chase products.

AMEX BCE (30K), DISCOVER IT (29.5K), NFCU CASH REWARDS (25K), BOA TRAVEL REWARDS (15K), USAA VISA (13K), CHASE SAPPHIRE RESERVE (13K), COMMENCE MASTERCARD (7.5K), CHASE FREEDOM (7K), CHASE FREEDOM (7K), TFCU CC (2.5K), TARGET REDCARD (900)

I got the United Club (20k) and the Hyatt (15k) in 1 day this time last year... although I did add a business card and got AA'd... so to answer your question.... 100% possible, your file just has to be strong enough
