Is it possible to move CL's on store cards?

I have had a Victoria Secrets store card for 13 months with a $1,000 CL. I don't use the card so thinking about closing it. I've received a few CLI's this month so closing it should not affect my credit utilization when it does report. 

I was recently preapproved for an ULTAmate Rewards credit card and just waiting for it to arrive in the mail. Is it possible to transfer the $1,000 CL from Victoria Secrets card to my Ulta card. before closing? I can't remember if they are both Comenity Capital Bank or is one is Comenity Bank.

I believe the answer is no but there might be exceptions to the rule with specific creditors

I believe the answer is no. At the very least, I haven’t seen any exceptions.

Comenity and Comenity Capital Bank are one in the same entity.  As far as reallocating CLs between any of their private label CCs, the short answer is no.  The same applies for any SYNCB, Capital One, Wells Fargo and Citi retail CCs.
