Is it possible to request a different AMEX card design?

Got my AMEX BCE in the mail and honestly do not like the clear card.  Does anyone know if its possible to request any other designs?  Also, where am I supposed to sign the back of the card?  Thanks

No, they do not change card designs.

there is a small strip on the back.  I'd suggest a fine tip Sharpie.

It's a small strip but the only numbers that you 'need' are the last 3 or the CVV. I have the world's longest name and I managed to fit it in.
