Hey I feel for you man, I have been rejected by Amex 4 times so far LOL.
Have you tried the back door number thread at http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Cards/Backdoor-Numbers/td-p/408066
This is what they have forAmex:
AmEx Oasis Program: 888-232-3261
AmEx: 800-567-1083 (App Recon Requests)
American Express Credit Bureau Unit: 800-874-2717. Must have a current credit report before calling. They will ask for the account number from the credit report, which is different from your card number.
Good luck man, keep us informed/

yes i have tried it and a few other numbers,,, keep getting the same crap,, i would like to take to some1 that can get things done now
I not getting denied, it gets canceled
Dalebb; You're saying the people on the phone are telling you the BCP has been approved? Then I'd call back and ask when I should expect my BCP being it hasn't arrived in a month. THAT might make them check into things thinking a card got lost, they have to cancel the one they sent out and send a new one
Hit them from a different angle. It would only make sense you should have your card by now if it were approved, and they can see you already have your BLUE card. If they say you already have your card, ask them which card they're talking about. If they say BLUE, then you can explain yes, you have and are using that, you're wondering where your BCP is and after it was approved so long ago.

Ah ok, did you ask for a supervisor or someone in IT? That might be the pathway you need to follow, if it's computer related and a supervisor can't figure it out, get to IT (it takes a transfer over to them from CS).
I have to warn you though, their IT level CSR's don't seem to do a lot of CS so they're not very proficient at it. That or you need a more seasoned CSR, one that's been there for some time, that's dealt with account glitches. I know they exist, I've spoke with them.
