I haven't used CITI TY points much, but it appears the points are worth about a penny, so $125 for $2k spend.
Based on my math, this works out to be 6.25 cents per dollar spent, which seems like a good return. Any gotchas I'm not thinking of or other thoughts?
I consider the ThankYou points which I receive from Citi (thru Premier card and Double Cash card transferring to Premier card) to be worth around 1.25 cents, because I can use them for travel at 1.25%, or I can transfer them for JetBlue points which now seem to be worth around 1.2 cents. So a 12,500 point bonus would be worth around $150 to me, and that's in addition to whatever I would be getting in normal points.
