Is this bad CC Payment practice (for whatever FicoEEEE Jinxie Reason??)

I have been making more than one payment per month on my 1 and only Credit Card - Chase Disney Visa

Personally it has helped me be on top of my finances better, the past few months.

Is this some sort of "No No" that I am unaware of?

Thank you for any advice and or feedback  : ))

Hello and welcome to the forums.

I can only speak of my experience but I make multiple payments each month to my Discover and BoA accounts and have never to my knowledge suffered any bad consequences.

The Amex site actually encourages people to make more than payment per month.

I have only heard of  a couple people that say this is a problem, I tend to make payments on my cards everytime I get paid and each payment is more than the typical minimum monthly payment. Thus making it nearly impossible to miss a payment in any month. I assume AMEX has seen this payment before I got my 2 cards with them and they don't have any problems so far. GE loves it they keep giving me CLI, both Auto and self initiated CLI, Every card that I have had for longer than a year has given me a CLI, with me making multiple payments per month, I know some parts of the credit card companies would lke me to carry balances and pay interest, but on the otherhand they like there cards being used and paid so they get there swipe fees and get there money back so they can lend to others.

Cards: Chase Southwest 20k & CSR 17k & CSP 10k & FNBO 30k Oregon Duck 5k, & AMEX BCP 32.5k & Amex Magnet 15k&amg; Hilton Surpass 7.5k & Delta Gold 12k & Zync NPSL, Fidelity AMEX 17k Commerce5.9k & Cash Forward 7.5k & Sams Club MC 20k, Paypal Extras MC 10k, Paypal Credit 7.25k CapOne Venture 15k, QS 2.5k, QS 750, Amazon 10k, Walmart 10k, Citi Simplicity 18k, Discover IT 23k and a nice stack of store cards.

In the future as your credit improves, you should consider adding a 2nd or 3rd CC.    It is good for credit profile long term.   It is also good to have backup CC's in case of CC loss, fraud, etc.

Re: Is this bad CC Payment practice (for whatever FicoEEEE Jinxie Reason??)

They seem to like multiple payments per month based on what Ive seen.

Most of the cards I do that on have given me CLI's without asking. Even Capitol One which is actually higher CL now than they said it could be on this particular card.
