I have tried quite a few times to add my Discover it to my Android Pay account since it launched about six weeks ago. Discover is listed as a supported partner with the service, but when I add the card I get the Bancorp disclosure (which starts off with something like "While your bank is not currently supported, Bancorp offers...). From my understanding, this is Google's third-party solution to allow cards to be used with Android Pay until a bank is officially supported. Has anyone successfully added their Discover it to Android Pay and gotten Discover's disclosure rather than Bancorp's?
Interestingly, on Discover's FAQ, it says that receiving the Bancorp disclosure is "correct," but I know this is not true... Mentioned above, the disclosure clearly states the card is not supported. And added this way, a card with not have tokenized purchases and will not earn rewards.
Why does "Bancorp" appear in the terms and conditions when I'm confirming my Discover card in Android Pay?
Bancorp supports Discover card in Android Pay in the processing of customers' transactions, so it is correct that you see Bancorp terms and conditions. To complete the process you can review and accept the terms and conditions, confirm your Google Payment preferences, and then you're ready to begin using Discover in Android Pay.
Thanks for your input!

I had no issue with discover on Android pay.
I added Discover Miles which, at a flat 3%, it doesn't matter if it is tokenized or not. Is yours an IT? And the 5% reward stuff works?

Mines it. I only used it for vending machine at work.
OK, that's not what the OP was concerned about!
My Discover it, works fine with Android...

Meaning that you are getting 5% rewards when you use it?
Yeah, I'm not concerned with the fact that people are able to use their Discover card on Android Pay. Rather, I am concerned with the process of adding the card to Android Pay and what disclosures were presented at that time. If you don't remember for sure if they were from Discover or Bancorp, my question will likely go unanswered. And that's okay.
Yes...
