Itchy trigger finger?

How do you calm this in the rebuilding process when you see a score increase like 2x a month? What score did you get to where it subsided?

Re: Itchy trigger finger?

ive noticed from reading this forum that when your scores are low but you change your habits and trying to rebuild your scores will increase more often unlike scores in the upper 600s up to the 800s. its like when your really heavy and start exercising and you lose weight faster then somebody of normal weight. but when the heavy person stops and starts eatng like they used to they gain weight alot faster or in your case start making decisions that will negatively effect your fico then the damage will be more then if you had higher scores. idk if anybody is gonna understand what i said but, just know you dont want to lower your fico score anymore because you want to reach your goal. that should cure the itch to app.

Haha this is a great analogy and yes it's harder to get a better score when your on top and even harder to keep it!!

Re: Itchy trigger finger?

Choose your long term credit goal over instant gratification.

Some float an app every time their score inches up or keep going until someone says yes just to feel the rush of approval, LOL!

Starting Score: 675
Current Score: EX 753 FICO, EQ 737FICO, TU 738
Goal Score: 776 FICO

It is hard to break the instant gratification habit but it gets easier every day
