I would just wait & see. But I am very patient. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to call customer service. Though, I would be surprised if you got a stright answer from them.

YMMV... When Synchrony converted my TJX PLCC to the TJX MC (DC), they increased the credit limit from $3500 to $5000.

I wasn't sure if I wanted it, but I took the plunge and let them report the new account on the report.

I just called a few mins ago.They told me the limit would stay the same,it would just be a MC with the ability to use it everywhere..A 500.00 MC,who knew lol

Congrats on offer,,I have had mine over 3yrs. now and like all MC's you can use anywhere MC is taken...
Oh yea..forgot when I got mine my CL on store card was 6,000, when I activated JCP platinum showed new CL of 10K

When they updated my WM SC to MC they gave be an auto increase of 1.7K.

Wow,nice! Well maybe that will be my reality.I was thinking of not doing it but then realized that I have the SC I may as well go forward with it.Who knows,maybe it will come with an automatic CLI and the customer service person is wrong (fingers crossed) For sure I am going to begin putting usage on it.It was a starter card for me and really wished it was a BR or Gap card because I use those brands more.....Oh well,lol

Congrats!  Got my letter for the mastercard upgrade last week coming in August as well.  I've had the card since 1997 and didn't even know they had a mastercard.  They also just gave me an increase to now $6000 so maybe that was because the card is coming.  Had $4000 back in March.

Congrats! Myself, I didnt request an increase because I know that account will be replaced with the MC.My goal is to spend monthly for a couple mos and then request a limit then (if they dont hp that is)
