Ok I just phoned JCP to find out the reason for my mid cycle reporting, assuming it was due to due date change. I was told by a manager that they report daily. No more between cycle use and then PIF for reporting 0 Balance.
She seemed to be under the impression that its always been this way I tried to ask the question 6 different ways for clarification, all I got was if I put 1$ on the account they will upload that to the CRAS instantly.period the end. They aren't waiting until the closing date to report use.
I tried to speak of closing date to closing date and she reiterated "NO NO NO thats not how its done here."
So, I dont know if anyone else noticed this or not, but thought Id put it out there. I dont know how much I like this. Or if it is a new implimentation of the name change, or what. Though folks should know though, for those of us the PIF and use our accounts monthly, this can really be a kink in the ring having all of them show use at once and having it visible.
They should know, but I have found front line customer service seldom do.
I'd call back ask a scond CSR rep. See if they give the same answer without you tipping your hand about talking about it to the first rep.
wonder how to find out, I asked the Manager to send me to a credit analyst and she said "we dont have credit analyst department"
good idea
If that was true, I would think my JCP account's balance would have went down already :/ alas, it's still at the $448 on my reports, as opposed to the $192 it's been down to since the 29th (paid on the 27th). Statement should close around the 4th.
Call GECRB credit solutions from the backdoor numbers. Link below.

really strange. I called credit solutions 866-519-6441 and the guy on the phone there said he is in underwriting and said more weird stuff like, "we dont determine what gets put on the credit report that's up to transunion and we only report to transunion they determine the dates of the closing and reporting" .
Why do these people have jobs?
mindboggling. Im not calling anyone else. had enough for today.

You didn't call GECRB credit solutions like I suggested. You called credit solutions underwriting.

For me, JCP reports shortly after the statement close. It seems like it would be a huge waste of time and resources to report daily to the CRAs.
I'm pretty sure their CSRs are just talking out of their rear ends sometimes.
