Does anyone have the 'Select' card with the chip in it? I just looked at some of the features, and it pretty much looks like a "Sapphire" card but with a chip. Any reason to app for this one? Looks like a $95AF with a standard APR of 13.24%

I have it. Got it in preparation for an overseas trip. Plus, it looks nice. It's also my lowest APR outside of my CU card. Annual fee is waived for first year I think.
Can you post a pic? I don't think many have seen the card. Is it plastic or metal?

It is plastic, but it's kind of shiny. Almost like it's supposed to look like brushed metal. The picture online doesn't reflect the shine aspect very well, at least in my browser.

Yes it's actually a brown matte color. The brushed metal one is actually the one with a $600 annual fee and it's made from real palladium hence why it is called the JPMorgan Palladium card
The perks of it aren't worth it, however. It just looks pretty ![]()

Only the back is matte...the front is shiny, like it's supposed to look like it's brushed metal. If you hold it in the light, it reflects a copper color.

Sapphire earns more rewards: 2% on fast food and dining + extra 7% dividend yearly + 20% more when you redeem points for travel.
One other nice thing about this card is that there are no penalty fees. No late fee and no return check or return payment fees. I don't see a penalty APR like the Sapphire has either. While this may not be a benefit for people who are always on time and very conscientious about their payments, it's a nice feature.
