JUNIPER CC's: HELP PLEASE!!! (Kind of a Long Post)

Hi ALL!

I finally did it! (after being SO scared of being denied) - But YOU ALL have given me the courage to just do it!!!  We are all playing the same game here, right??? Smiley Wink
I saw the great thread that Bruiser posted on BK friendly CC's and thought I would give Juniper a try since they pull from TU.  For some reason, my TU scores always seem to be slightly higher than EQ and EX.  Anyway, although I have never had BK, I do suffer from poor credit - low 600's.  The post said that the Carnival Sea Miles and American Airlines cards were pretty fair for people with BK's, so I thought, 'what the heck?'

I first applied for the American Airlines card last night and got the message that they needed to review it and get back with me....IS THAT A DENIAL?

But then, I went right back in there and applied for the Carnival Sea Miles Card and was immediately approved for a card with a $500 CL. (same information was entered as the application for American Airlines)  How weird, huh?  I just thought I would throw this out there and see if anyone else had the same experience with them and what their final decision was upon 'reviewing' their information.

I really need some TL's on my CR at this time - I only have the following 3:

WAMU - CL $1000 - have had the card for 1 year now - Anyone know if these guys do CLI's?  I have  an AWESOME payment history with them.
CrapOne - CL $500 - from what I have read, these dorks aren't too keen on giving CLI's Smiley Mad
I have had the card for over 3 years now and would love to see this sucker increase in CL...Again I ask - Anyone ever had experience getting CLI's with them?  It's now converted to the "No Hassle" card, but $500?  Come on CrapOne!!! What's their dealio?
First Premier:  Have had this card for over a year now.  Started off with a CL of $250 - now at CL of $400.  Not too worried about getting a higher CLI with them though.  I just use this like a gas card only and pay it off each month.

Believe me - I am not done yet!  I am determined to get some more of these puppies (CC), but I was hoping to get one with a CL of at least $1000!  I want to get going on this ASAP, and finally have the guts to do it!!!

Any thoughts from you all?  Anyone know about Juniper and/or had the same experience I did with them when applying for card(s)?  Also, does anyone have any advice on other cards to consider right now so that I can keep applying for more that may give me a higher CL?

As always, everyone on here is SO GREAT!  So, thank you in advance for any input!!!

My friend had a similar experience, she was denied one Juniper Card (US airways) but was approved on the other card Juniper (Carnival) for $500.  They denied me on the USairways; I never bothered to apply for the Carnival.

Juniper was a no go for me, sent a recon, waiting on reply. I got CapOne the end of June. I was surprised that they gave it to me because an old account was CO and included in my BK. I called them 2 days ago (use 1-800-889-9939)told them I wanted to do a balance transfer and they gave me a $500 increase. Not much but it's a start. Good luck.

Not sure what the issue with WaMu CLIs are.  They have been great giving me CLIs, like clockwork every 6 mos.  What utilization do you usually carry?  I think I may have actually purchased something for 7.00 on the card but the rest of my activity has been BTs.  I usually wound up paying them off after 6 mos or so

I have a CapitalONe card. it was really the first card I recieved in the whole restoration proccess..and i recieve CLI's about every year.. i started out with a $200CL..after 3 months it went to $300. the next year it went to $500 .. and now its at $1000.. so look like they increase every year.

I called last night to covert to the no hassle card (have a platnium now) and they told me i couldnt i would have to apply for it again.. is that true??? they did however remove the annual fee that i was charged.

My dw was turned down online by Carnival, and when she received the letter from them she called them and asked if they would recon her app due to the changes coming from AU's (she is one on my USAir)  They asked her some questions, and she explained that she was not requesting a high credit limit, only a cc that could help her establish credit in her name.  They approved her for $500 to start.  She (dw) was very excited about the results.  I told her she needs to start reading the forums here, and she said she was afraid she would get hooked like I am lol.

Do not be afraid to recon, all they can say is no.  Good luck.

Unfortunately cap one is not conversion freidnly. It is one of the lowest limits I have and bankcard at 1500.00 but they raised it three times in the first three months (the first time after I requested closure at activatio).  I asked the same if they would convert, and was told the same.

Juniper is a stronng TU puller
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid
