Edit:
To be honest it's underwhelming to me, even as someone who ends up on JetBlue flights fairly often. For that price for me, it should have include annual tiles toward Mosaic status instead of a signup bonus. I think the earning multipliers should have been better than what you get with JetBlue Plus as well.
The authorized user charge is high, but it will all depend on what kind of perks AUs get. For instance, for the Group A boarding, one thing I noticed recently is that JetBlue recently told me and my spouse that we should have boarded together with the lower group, not the higher group. This was counter to my experiences at nearly all other airlines that I can recall. If only one person having group A is not enough, then they're just going to cause annoyance and confusion at the gate, where there's already plenty of that. That would not entice me to spend even more for an AU card.
One more thing about the +5 tiles sub. They charge $479.70 outright for 5 tiles, though everyone's valuation will be different I guess.
I just got Plus recently, and I'm concerned they might downgrade it. Plus is a decent value at $95/year but for me just barely. Not at all going to upgrade and glad I got the 80K bonus offer when I did.
I got an offer to upgrade my existing Plus card to the Premier...but no SUB. The card isn't even metal. Gonna pass , overpriced for my usage pattern on JetBlue. Don't get me wrong, I love JetBlue but this additional offering is 'lacking' for that size AF.
I don't fly JetBlue but I just looked over the new JetBlue Premier card. I also compared it to JetBlue Plus, so I understand the underwhelming reaction. This looks to me like they took the rewards and perks of JetBlue Plus, added a higher fee with a bunch of off-setting credits, and then added a few perks where the value-added may vary substantially between consumers.
JetBlue Plus essentially becomes a free card with $99 AF if you take advantage of the $100 annual credit for a JetBlue travel package. With the 5K annual points, it's actually +$65 in your pocket. So for free, you get these same attributes as the Premier:
Premier charges you $499; less the $300 Paisley; Less the 5K points (~$65) = $134. It reimburses you for TSA Global Entry worth about $25 annually, so if you take advantage that brings it down to $109. For that, you also get:
The 70K points bonus and 5 mosaic tiles value would be worth up to about $1,390 (70K x 1.3 = $910 + $480 referenced above for the tiles.) The SUB is pretty valuable alone and does help soften the blow if anyone wanted to try it out.
I totally agree they should have sweetened the deal quite a bit more than they offer on the Plus card. Premier doesn't really differentiate itself enough to warrant such a higher AF.

For me, this is the real rub. So many cards have TSA GE that I value it close to $0 now. I have never used Paisley and cannot see myself using it consistently, especially since they opted to make it 6 separate $50 credits instead of letting you redeem it on a single $300+ transaction. Wild to me that they restricted it so hard for an already niche travel portal.
The fact that even double-dipping the obnoxious credit would still only get you to +$100 on a card with so few other perks/benefits is a really bad sign to me. Might enter some heavy churners' rotation I guess.
Never personally flown jetblue although heard decent things about them just no routes where I travel. With that said I don't see huge value on this card just when I saw it announced other than sign-up bonus but believe other cards they offer have a sign-up as well if not mistaken.
