Hello,
I have read these boards for quite awhile. Gathering information to further improve my credit scores..So far they are a respectively 771 exp(psecu), USAA scores 762 exp, 771 eq, 771 tu..The only thing is i have ALOT of credit cards.. Never late on any... a small balance on 2 or 3 of them... i cant close or maybe dont want to close any for fear of lowering my aaoa..but with all of the cards i have my scores seem very good.... I have 6 inq on experian, 2 on eq and tu... its a hassle sometimes to keep them all active but i just want to say that it can be done....

I know, i know i have a lot of cards...sometimes it surprises me.....
What do you pay in AFs every year? I would close at least half, personally...
WOW! That's a lot of cards to manage. I wouldn't close any of them since it is clearly working for you.
closing your cards won't have any affect on your credit scores until they drop off in 10 years... but in those 10 years the cards you keep open will gain 10 years of age... so it wont have any real affect.
i'd close all the ones you don't use and focus on getting CLI's for the ones you do keep.... keeping track.... must be a hassle, and if you have physical cards for all of them that are activated your opening yourself up for identity theft.
Wow !!! I count 40 cards....personally I don't think I could keep track of that many, even with a spreadsheet.....
i only have an annual fee on 1 card... the capital one...its my oldest card and that is the only reason why i continue to keep it open and pay the annual fee.
YAY! Somebody with more cards than ME!
(Yours are better cards, too... I'm jealous!)
OMG, that is a lot, but very impressive CLs and scores.
Question: How come no Discover (other than WM)?
