Just went through the process of adding my partner as an Auth user on my PRG.. Submitted the request from within my Amex online account.. Entered all of his info, social etc, hit submit and got the message to call in.. Was pretty surprised given he has never had one negative mark on his credit, EVER, and has a 827 score.. Called in where they asked me for all of the same info I has just submitted online, waited a few minutes while he submitted it, and then it was approved... I had to tell the CSR that the card was an add on to my existing account, and not a new card for me.. But, he kept asking for my social.. Was odd..

Its always better to just call In, makes things much simpler.
Anyone know if they run a credit check on adding auth users?

They do not; however, they will run their name in their system to see if they ever burned AMEX and if so they are not eligible.

I have had a weird situation with trying to add DH as an ACM to my Lowes account... I have called three times and then about a week after I call, I get a letter in the mail saying my request was cancelled because I already have an account of that type... I think there is a glitch with their AU system...
I just went on Amex chat on friday to see if i can have better success using the chat. I will update you guys when I hear something back.
I had no issues adding DH as an ACM on Zync and on PRG when I first got the accounts
