Juniper Question

Good Eve All,

I see that Juniper offers about 17 cards.  Can anyone tell me which cards tend to offer better CLs?  Which offer easier (if any) approval?  How many Juniper cards can you have?

Can't say. Bump.

Do know this though- my Barnes and Noble is through Junni/Barclays, their CS is bad, and they lost my first card they sent in the mail. Took all the way until a couple weeks ago to get it.

I also don't like they way their website works.

Bump again.

Re: Juniper Question

I have a Caseys gas CC with rewards and a $7,500 limit (got it April). They soft me every couple of months No problems at all with them, although some hate Juniper from its pre-Barclays days. I pay from my bank account whenever I want
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

Re: Juniper Question

My impression is that the emigrant direct is more generous on the CL, but I base that from a couple of months ago. I do have the SeaMiles with $400 CL. I applied for I-Tunes last month and was turned down because I "have sufficient credit" with them. Go figure.

My rant continues...I requested a CLI last month on SeaMiles and was turned down. They said they'll send an explanation letter but never received one (and they wouldn't tell me over the phone; could be due to newness).

Also, I paid all my CCs down to $0; I wanted to be CC debt free going into Christmas. I paid the $200 balance in full on SeaMiles. The payment cleared and was posted to the account and showed an available balance of $400. I used it again a week later for $150. After the charge posted, I again paid the balance in full of $150. So, in a 10 day period I paid twice. This time the payment cleared on my end and posted in SeaMiles, but Juniper reversed my available credit not only by the $150 but also the $200! So, my available credit was $50, with a balance of $0, with two payments not being credited. I called Juniper and they said that if you make two payments within a 10 days period of each other, they will reverse both payments, put a hold on them, and credit back those payments after 2 weeks! Both were credited in 10 days, but I never heard of this. My attitude towards Juniper has soured and SeaMiles is on my short list for cancellation later next year.

Re: Juniper Question

Barclays seems to have their own culture on how they handle their cards. I have appleid once and they said it is not approved. After seeing the posts on the boards, I understand they are very picky and finiky. I am not sure if I would waste my time with that kind of approach to customers.

Re: Juniper Question

I'm new to Junny - I have the Mastercard with 8.9% interest.  The CL sucks ($400) but I did have some baddies.  I'll just hold on to it, behave, and wait for CLIs...

The three hard inquiries didn't make me happy though...
