Juniper just raised the APR on my card from 7% to 23.24%. I have never been late with a payment, always paid more than the minimum and have never gone over my limit.
They didn't even give me a jar of vaseline.
I almost burst into laughter when I read this post... I mean, really??? Juniper? I dont personally have any of their cards, but I do have an AMEX that went from 8.24 to 19.5 a couple months ago for absolutely no reason other than "it was that time of the month" for AMEX, and I thought that was kind of silly, since i never carry balances on the card.
Alas, it looks as though I will only be using my new fixed rate NFCU card - and if they ever raise my APR, im done with credit and you'll find me living under a bridge

HA!
Quote of the day!
This is how things will be in the future. We all have to get over the shock of it and just not carry any balances. If they close our accounts, oh well.
I am not going to pay more then double the prime rate to any bank.
