I just aplied for citiforward and got this message that they recieved teh application and will email me in a couple of days.

does that mean I'm more than likely denied or approved?

My EQ fico is 663 no bad's no lates.

Maybe there's a way for you to call their new accounts department? Just to find out what the hold up is and if you can talk them into letting you have the card.., idk but it might work.

Call Citi's new cards department, they'll tell you immediately whether or not you're approved.

I don't know if this helps, but I was told the same thing for their hhonors rewards card. They ended up giving me the gold version with 2000 limit a couple days later.

I applied for Forward in May and got the same message. About a week later, I got an email/letter in the mail telling me to mail a bill/bank statement verifying my address.

A week after sending that in, I got approved.

I would just try calling. I always like to find out what my new rate/CL on a card; and also because its nice to know what was wrong if they didn't approve it.

I really don't know what to do on this one i'm a little nervous about calling I don't like rejection.lol

Not many people like rejection.

Waiting and or calling in is up to you. If you are denied you can just attempt the recon that much sooner. But since I prefer to stay in a positive light I would just be thinking your approved and calling in to confirm that.

ok I just called in and they said the application is still pending and to call back tomorrow or monday.

Maybe the automated citi approval computer is thinking long and hard about giving me a forward card.lol
