I dont think I was saying "Never" I was simply giving you the likelyhood of being qualified by Amex's automated system which you completely bypassed in both cases via a recon and a manual app.

I would have gave the same answer to someone else if I were you, but you did explicitly say I wouldn't get approved. Proved us both wrong. Also, I did not recon the second time. Direct approval, simply had to call and verify my address since I used one not on my credit report.
Got my Gold Delta card today. Waiting for the zync, it was sent to my old address so waiting for it to be forwarded to me here.
Very nice...what CL did they start you out again for the Delta?
