Just curious, does anyone know if the US Bank Shield card is eligible for PC? I apped for and received the Shield card a few months ago to make use of the generous 0% BT promo, but when the promo is wrapped up, I just thought it couldn't hurt to see if maybe the Shield card could potentially be PC'd to another Cash+, just for example? Thanks!
Did it with my platnium last year, after keeping it a platnium for years and years like a dork.
so I would imagine so, but it just came out with the rebrand of "shield" so nobody will technically know for 18 months until someone try's or asks a CSR now.
well.. not technically, right? I might if you can PC any US Bank core card, you should be able to do the same with this one.
I dont very often hear or read about PC'ing US Bank cards though. I just remember getting approved for a lousy 1k several years ago, canceled the account, and somehow made them remove the inquiry.

If you mean PC to the Shield Visa then I can definitely say that I have already done it and the results are in my signature. If you mean PC from the Shield Visa to something else then you end up in a wash. Most people that have a Shield Visa either applied for a new account or PC'd in wanting that product exactly. By law new accounts cannot have their terms changed for the first year so nobody can PC out yet unless they PC'd in and that is unlikely to happen because they wanted this product.
