I have horrible credit, 526 EQ FICO, consisting of 3 Charge offs with 2 collections and 16 inquiries. All within the past 3 years.
I'm so glad I got approved for for their Platinum card. (I payed $19 processing fee though)
$320 CL with $10 annual fee (waved for first year)
600 club here I come!
1. First Premier Bank MC, $300CL, $95 AF
, 59.99% APR (4 months old)
2. Household Platinum MC, $320CL, $10 AF,
, 14.99 APR
They ran EQ for me and I live in NJ.
I had a 526 at the time of application.
Just waiting on the card, gonna try to ask for CLI upon activation.

You got a good deal. I would close the First Premier before the $95 AF is due.
lol. i have wanted household bank card for so long now. i can't get it because you have to be pre approved to get the card. i can only get their secured card. i am assuming that this is an unsecured credit card account. some think i am looney for wanting this subprime card. i am not sure why i want it so much at this point. i guess they only want to pre approve those with bad credit. oh well.
and in opposition to my deep desire of household bank card, first premier is one of the few cards i actually hate. why any one would chose to hold on to first premier or credit one is BEYOND ME. i would go for a public secured or orchard secured with the blink of an eye if i couldn't get any other credit. someone would have to literally threaten to feed me to the snakes or tie me to the railroad tracks to app, before i would ever agree to apply or open a first premier bank card. i wish i had a poisoned face emotion to display just how i feel about that card.
Congratulations! You've got some tools for rebuilding now. Use them well, and your scores will soon begin to rise. I know what it's like to be in the 500s, and I remember how happy I was when I first crossed into the 600s. If you put into action the advice that you find on these boards, you'll soon see yourself crossing that threshold as well. Best wishes to you!
Get rid of that highway robbery $95 AF card.
I hate that card with $95 AF![]()
But it's my oldest and only positive TL on all my reports. Well, for now until my Household Platinum starts to report.
I don't mind the killer apr of 59.99% since I always PIF.
I don't know, some say I should keep the card at least 1 year and 11 months.
Lol you tryna make fun of me huh kid? ![]()
Yeah the card does look unique. It's so classic. I like the style better than my old Discover card. Haha I don't blame you
but you are definitely weird! ![]()
Yeah I'll treat these cards well, hopefully they do something good in return!
I wouldn't mind a 0% apr on a new nissan next fall. Hahaha

The card is still a baby at 4months. That's one expensive crumb snatcher. Regardless the account will still appear on your credit reports for 10 years.
now that you have your new account you can dump the first premier theives NOW!
