Just learned about some CL features from PNC

While visiting pnc.com for my Points card, I decided to request a credit limit change.

So in addition to request an Increase, I thought it was peculiar for the option to also a request a Decrease.

I hit the Increase naturally of course (was denied) but got this neat/detailed response where it informs you when you are again eligible:

Very cool! This is reminiscent of Citi's new CLI page that tells you the exact date you're eligible.

I fully expect to see a CLI approval post from you on the 8th of next month

I just spent a bit of time searching around the site and found the CLI button. My salary has increased in the last year almost 60% so it may be a factor but I was approved and moved up from $11,500 to $16,500! I tried the Discover Luv button and no luck, despite the salary increase. Discover seems to prefer higher use and I am the type that pays off my card almost immediately after I spend.

Curious if anyone is getting approved for CLI's without putting a lot of spend on the PNC CC? 🤔

I consistently have a low spend on my pnc card. I usually don't let it go over $200 before paying it off immediately. I did get a significant increase in income and indicated that on my last request. But I asked for a CLI today and they approved $5000 increase despite my very low usage.

Edit: $5000 not $400. I don't even know how I math'ed that poorly.
