I left the requested CL space blank.
I got the "Call us for an instant decision" message.
Should I call or just wait?
I will update later if it was a hard or soft pull!
EDIT: Just checked, it was a SOFT on EX!
How long have you had this BOA card before requesting CLI?
It will be 4 years in 2 weeks

You should definitely call. I received the similar message 3-4 months ago and it was an increase. They just wanted to confirm income information.
How often does Boa gives CLI. My wife did that today morning and she got the same message.
Does BoA gives CLI on its own? She has this card for more than 3 years now and no baddies in her CR.
I got a CLI just a few days ago on my BofA Cash Rewards Visa. I went from $1,000 to $1,500 CL. I've had the card since Feb 2011. I clicked the luv button and got the message to call. I called and received the $500 CLI after a couple of quick questions (household income, name of employer, number of years at job, rent or own, amount of rent). It took about 5 minutes. Suprisingly they reported the new CL to the credit bureaus by the next day. It was a soft pull. I am in California, in case that matters.
Andre181: If you don't call them they may call you tomorrow. I had applied last year, got the call message but did not call. The next day they were on the phone calling me. I got the CLI I asked for, but they asked me why I wanted it and all i had was some lame reason.
Be ready!
Good point gangof4. They asked me the reason for my request as well. I said I was going on vacation and wanted to make sure I had enough credit to cover any unexpected expenses.
Didnt call the customer care and checked today morning BoA has provided the CLI.
In April I requested a cli online. Got the call in message, I didn't call them and they didn't call me. A little later they sent me a denial letter basically saying that based on my usage of the account my current limit was sufficient. A couple weeks later out of the blue a cli of 1500 shows up on my online account. Seemed kinda strange, but I'll take it.
