Hi all, just wanted to say thanks for the advice...
I called USAA and was approved for their USAA Amex for $14,000 and when I asked if my MC could be raised to the same limit (from $12,000), they raised it to $24,000! I don't know for sure what my score is, but it was around 720 when we bought our house at the end of July.
Just a tip for you USAA members too...they base getting a credit card on:
your FICO score (pulled EX for me)
your amount of products with USAA (I have a ton)
your credit history with other cards with them (if you have one, of course...mine is perfect)
your income (household)
Congrats!
Interesting, that's the first I have read of USAA pulling a hard on EX...thought they primarily used EQ.
