Despite what you might read here, if and when you do get your CSP, it really won't change your life very much.  Or even at all!

+1.

Applies to every single credit card. It's just a credit card...........

Why are you waiting? You have a premier AMEX revolver - you'd be highly likely to get a CSP, definitley on manual review if for some reason you were declined.

Ok, I just saw how very recent your apps are and the lower limit on the Freedom. Definitley wait on it. I have the CSP - it's cool but as the rest say it is just a card. If not for the sign up bonus I probably would have passed given the AF.

Yes...if it wasn't for the 40K bonus I would have probably not bothered, at least not for a while...Smiley Wink.

Re: Just woke up from a nap, where I got my CSP

You need to garden for 6 months, try to get your AMEX revolver over 5k, and wait at least 3 months, and you may have a chance, Chase likes to see some history with a card with a 5+k limit. A freedom card with a $600 CL is not a good sign, time to garden.

Cards: Chase Southwest 20k & CSR 17k & CSP 10k & FNBO 30k Oregon Duck 5k, & AMEX BCP 32.5k & Amex Magnet 15k&amg; Hilton Surpass 7.5k & Delta Gold 12k & Zync NPSL, Fidelity AMEX 17k Commerce5.9k & Cash Forward 7.5k & Sams Club MC 20k, Paypal Extras MC 10k, Paypal Credit 7.25k CapOne Venture 15k, QS 2.5k, QS 750, Amazon 10k, Walmart 10k, Citi Simplicity 18k, Discover IT 23k and a nice stack of store cards.

Go back to sleep maybe you'll get a large limit too..

Nite nite Smiley LOL

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Just woke up from a nap, where I got my CSP

FWIW, I just opened the envelope with my CSP in it...I had my Slate with a 500$ limit when I applied for it, was given a $1200 limit on a Freedom on the same day, and was approved without recon for 5K on my CSP, but had to wait 2 days...It might be worth a shot. My AAoA is approximately 4 months and my oldest TL is only 1 year and three months...
