Keep Getting Pre-approval offers from express and vs website, why?

I got a pre approval offer from victoria's secret for 350 credit line. I was approved. Now everytime I go to check out the same offer pops up, and I was already approved for the card. Now on the express website, I get the same pop up, but I get the 7-10 day message, and sometimes express website has said that there was an issue with processing my application and i should call customer service. do any of you know why would i continue to get these offers if i have been approved or even denied credit from the store?

Will hazard a guess that just about anyone that is checking out will get the same pop ups. If people take it and applyand are approved they think the preapproval was to them specifically. Might be why when you check out of these sites you keep getting pop ups. Stop applying for them. You are likley taking inquiries each time and if they approved they would have done it the first.time around. I could be wrong, just my opinion is all and since i dont shop at those type places my opinion may be worth just about next to nothing...still stop applying and call the customer service number they gve you. They may just need to verify your information

+1 chris,  yes only APP once, even if you see the offer several times.  If you got 2 offers for the same card in the mail, would you fill out both and send both in?  Or just discard the extra one?  Contact the customer support and see where your app is at.  My 2cents.
