Received a new Kohl's MVC card in the mail unexpectedly. Since I put a good amount of spend on the card during the holidays combined with the recent purchase of an area rug, I knew I was close to the amount required to be considered a most valuable customer. I like the design of the new card. Same $300 limit. Plan is to request a CLI after my 3rd statement drops.
Thank you! @Rebuild2019 . I must say that I'm enjoying my newfound retail relationship with Kohl's
Congrats on the PC! I've read a lot of members have success with CLI with this CC! Cheers!
Congrats on the Kohl’s Card, my SO got it 12/19 and she felt she needed to get every 30% off deal for using the card with the 10/50 Kohl’s Cash reward. Please don’t get me wrong, she absolutely deserved everything she bought and max’d the $3k CL out 09/2020 after two (2) CLI's. Smash that love button and enjoy your new card!!!
Lol! Thanks @Demented1! Yes, she absolutely deserved every purchase! The ability to stack the rewards with multiple coupons that Kohl's sends every week is hard to pass. And easy to max with a family. Spend, pay, repeat. Looking forward to my 1st Kohl's cli!
@Anonymous Have you asked for one yet? Kohl's will approve them every three months if you meet the criteria for an increase. I'm only spitballing here but your recent MVC upgrade might be an extra point in your favor to try it. If approved, your increase will be to $700, and that's a lot more useable. The following points will be $1500, $2500, and the max $3000. It's a SP to ask so no harm in trying!
Edit - just noticed your last statement in your post. Good luck on your request when the statement cuts
Thank you so much @Anonymous for providing those data points! I'd been searching for data points on Kohl's timeline for increases, but only found bits and pieces here and there. My initial plan was to request 3x cli when my 3rd statement cuts around the 23rd, but I now I see that I should ask for $700 for my first increase, and as you stated that is a much more useable line. And SP credit limit increases every three months is giving me butterflies lol!
