My experience as a prior Kohls cardholder was that they closed my account after insufficient use when I hadn't used the card for about 2 years, so it may end up being closed by them if you end up not using it.
I called them up (Capital One) I guess aka Kohls credit card and they gave me a card number over the phone so I could buy the air fryer today. My card is turning 2 years old this month so I wanted to use it before they closed it as they did to you as my last purchases was two years ago when I got the card. No matter which one or how much it is they all have about 75% positive reviews and 25% negative reviews. I figured I would buy one based on really good reviews but they all had something bad along the way. So I guessed and bought one. It had to be big enough to make a large pizza
Thanks
Mark

I have my card a year and a couple months. i bought many items and never had a bad experience. i bought a few appliances including a combo air fryer/toaster oven. i usually wait until they give me the 30 percent off combined with something else like kohls cash or free shipping. everything i bought from them was less than it would be at a retail store.
Are we saying both the base Kohl's store card, and the Most Valued Customer version hit max CL at $3000?
One thing I thought was odd, was one user on here had a Kohl's MVC in the signature/footer of a post, but it appeared to have a MasterCard logo in the bottom right corner.
A quick google search shows no such MasterCard product (most recent design, too, so if it existed - and recently - its existence should be able to confirmed!)

@CashOutReFi - Kohl's does not have a MC version at all, let alone a WEMC. The above image was used eons ago and has been a playful joke to those who aspired for Capital One to issue a MC version of the Kohls CC.
With that being said, the highest confirmed CL is $5K. Some of us were able to break to $4K. But, the current cap is $3K, whether MVC or base level.
I wouldn't close it, it shouldn't hurt you being open (of course there are hundreds of scoring models, so I can't say for sure about EVERY one, but none that I know of look at your average limit), but I would not close it, especially if you ever got to Kohls (the Kohls Charge has pretty decent discounts associated with it from time to time).

Adding on to this, we know of ONE person who has a limit higher than $4k (the aforementioned $5k) and I believe that was obtained well before Capital One acquired the Kohl's portfolio. Even the allowance to $4k for some of us was only a very brief period in the summer of 2017.
Just a footnote,
A low CL bring low limit cards. According to Mother Synchrony.
No problem if you have higher credit limits in other cards though.
My 1st cards were blood, sweat and tears. 300CL in a Cap1 Platinum.
Now they see 10k to 15k CLs and that's what I get from the lenders.
Cheers.
My C/L is $5k and has been for about 6 or 7 years. There are certain things on sale I will buy, or use Kohls cash, etc.. But, I only go there 3 or 4 times a year.
