Before i got my Zync i recall seeing a lot of you saying people at cash registers would act mesmerized or something by the pretty little white card. I've had it about 2 weeks and have used it almost everyday at my work cafeteria (grr why dont AMEX and Discover code them as food/restaurant when my BOA and Cap1-neither which has cashback/rewards for restaurants-actually do).
Well its the same 2 people everyday who work the cafeteria, and until today nobody had said anything, so i wasn't even thinking about it anymore. then out of the blue today she goes "that card is really nice i like the design." Almost got me smirkin. SO i guess it's true, this card is something magical! It's so simple and yet so eye-catching.
Actually got a comment about my Discover More yesterday too (i picked the dark blue one with the circles inside squares)
I have got both of these cards and waiting for the first comments. lol
I suspect Zync was more mystical when it was new, before people had seen many of them... I remember getting comments on mine back in 2010, and it seemed most people thought it was something like Centurion (i.e. uber exclusive), but maybe the pixie dust wore off... Still, it's one of my favorite card designs. I keep mine around for the random things credit cards are useful for, even though it's now closed.
You should put it under a blacklight sometime. ![]()
You're all losers.
And I am jealous of your loserdom. ![]()

I get comments all the time. My reply, "Yes since Amex gives Black cards to their most wealthy customers, They give the white one's to their poorest!" ![]()
At a Thai restaurant a waitress was so mezmorized by my card she asked if she could put it under a blacklight... The results were pretty cool!
