I've had the Langley Cashback card for a little over three months. Two questions for the community:
When is the bonus cashback posted to the savings account? I've received credit for cashback, but it appears to be the basic 2% level and not the bonus 3% for groceries in September. I didn't have any bonus spending in August, but when I look at July, I only see cashback for the basic categories as well.
Also, for the October 5% on Dining, does that include fast food? I feel stupid asking that, but I know with Chase it makes a difference.
Also, not sure if everybody saw, but Langley is doing 15% back on gas via debit in October!
Thanks everyone!
The base cashback and bonus cashback post as two separate deposits to your savings account a couple of days after your statement closes.
Are you activating your 5% category via the email they send at the beginning of the month?
Yes, I've been activating. Thanks for the reply -- this confirms what I thought should be happening. I'll reach out to them.
Do the bonus Cashback and base Cashback generally get paid at the same time? I feel pretty confident CVS should have coded as a drugstore last month.

Mine always post at the same time. CVS has always coded as a drugstore for me on every Visa I've ever used.

That's what I suspected. Thanks. I sent a message to customer support.

I paid for gas at the pump at a Circle K Station and it coded as groceries with my Langley debit card trying to get 10% offer they started last month. That is my go to gas station because because it closest to my house, so I've used every card I've used for gas there, and they've all coded as gas as it should. I reached out and they said they didn't control the MCC codes that merchants use. 🤷♂️
Between that and the painfully long time it takes for an external transfer to post, I'm not too impressed with Langley so far, to be honest. I had planned to get their Signature VISA, but I'm so so sure now.
