I have a question about payments and possibly be 30 days late, etc. Trying to get caught back up and just wondering how this works.
Basically, I made my minimum on July 18, thats my due date. I then made a larger payment the next day, but didnt pay it completely off.
I then did not make a payment in august, but made a payment September 15th of 70, the past due amount. To avoid 30 days late of course.
Its now the 19th of September and it saying there is no payment due, I was curious how thats possible, I was expecting to play keep up as September 18 would have been my next payment due? Or am I wrong?
Or does your minimum just become larger if you miss a payment?
Any help on how this works would be greatly appreciated.
When does your statement cut? If it cut after you made the additional payment It's possible the payment you made on the 15th covered your minimum payment for the Sept 18th due date

I believe the last day of the billing cycle is the 24th of each month.
Oh how messy. It looks like you never qualified for a 30 late. The most obvious way to know is if they added a solid $30-40 late fee. What I can say is that the July 19 payment also counted against the August minimum most likely while the July 18 covers July. September 15th payment counts against September minimum. If I were you I would find a way to get the card to $0 as soon as you can because your payments are all over the place.

Yeah, that seeems like a possibility. I am working on it. Been a rough few months, so its a little hectic. Thanks for the info though!.
Just an FYI. To get a 30 late you need to fail to pay the minimum once and then add 30 days. In most cases a second minimum will be required before 30 days go by and this minimum will include minimum+fees+interest so it will be much higher. Getting a 30 late hurts a lot.
