OK, so during my "app spree" in September, I got the FNBO Platinum VISA card at 3.25%, then moved a loan to it that had been at 11.50%, to take advantage of the 3.25%. Anyway, I wasn't aware that they did evaluation for auto CLIs at 6 months. So, anyway, two weeks ago, I jumped the gun and did a CLI request in an attempt to lower the UTIL on that account. The CLI request was a HP, and I got a letter saying it was denied for excessive new accounts, which was not a surprise. Anyway, got the statement two days later and on the statement was the fact that I had been granted an auto-CLI. Of course, I called customer service and wanted the HP removed, to which I was told no way, since I was notified when I made the request. Called again, spoke to a supervisor, and they held their ground. Anyway, just wanted to share my lesson with those of you who have been so valuable to me!
Why would you expect the HP to be removed? I received an autoCLI is not a basis for removal.
Yes, my only answer is that "it was worth a try". The real lesson I was trying to convey was to not be impatient, like I was...

Good info. Thanks for sharing.

This bank is very generous with CLIs. You can call customer service and ask if there is a pre approved sp CLI available every 3 months, they will say yes or no, I would never use the luv button to ask for a CLI with FNBO.
I called today, no SP CLI for me ...
I've only had a FNBO card for about 3.5 months.
Lesson learned.
With FNBO, call CS and ask for a CLI. They will enter your info and say whether or not you are pre-approved or are willing to go through with a HP.
Every 4 months like clockwork here, 5K increases.
