Has a bank/CU ever access your LinkedIn Profile during an application?
NASA FCU accessed my LinkedIn profile...first time seeing this.
How do you know this? Can you share details?
huh - interesting, please provde details
LinkedIn notifies you when your profile has been viewed. Today they also ran a HP for a PLOC.
I believe if you are a premium subscriber, you will receive notifications from LI when someone views your file. You may also receive these notifications at the free level, but their name may not be visible. When I switched my home and car insurance, I received a notification that the agent I was working with had viewed my LI profile.
That is what I thought. Interesting using social media type sites to back end validate your profile.

Also noticed this recently as well but by a different CU and wasn't for a new account either. I found it a bit strange trying to remember what CU it was but was a few weeks ago I need to circle back as doubt that CU is looking ot hire me with my skill sets. So something is going on here maybe making sure what I said i did for a job was in line with what I told them as believe I did have a credit account with them. Trying to find out whom it was as don't have premium linkedin but it did show me the name. Need to search through my emails.
You don't have to be Premium to get the notifications. This person didn't update their privacy to not show a name. Or it might be a default that anyone in underwriting uses. Who knows.
Interesting @CreditCuriosity ...if you remember, please share.
