My largest CC pay off reported today for a nice 47 point bump Still have HD to report on the 18th which was $3300 of $3600CL to update and my other Cap 1 increased from $2k CL to $4k the other day which will report the 30th.
So EQ is currently at 703. I'm hoping my EX and TU jumped as well but I'm sure they're still mid 600s, maybe slightly more. My mortgage guy sent me over my credit reports that he pulled for refi so I'm browsing through those to see if the CA has stopped reporting yet on EX and TU. It's hard to read through it though, it's not divided up nicely like the consumer type reports.

Congrats on the score boost. 47 pts is awesome.
Thank you! Too bad I'm still only barely over 700 after that big of an increase.....
Current list of cards I'm interested in....... I think these would cover about everything I spend and the AMEX reward for $1k spent in 3 months would be easy. Not sure how easy it would be for me to try and get 2-3 cards with an offer like this. I'd have to spend $1k a month to get the rewards.
American Express Blue Cash Preferred (I think I've decided to go for this one when the time comes)
Chase Sapphire
Discover IT
Those are all excellent cards.
I was doing a little thinking. Since I have a Home Depot card now that is backed by CBNA would I have a better shot at getting a higher CL if I applied for a Citi Card? Their Citi Dividend looks very similar to the Discover IT.
Citi Dividend
I'm also planning on applying for the Walmart card (in hopes of getting Discover) so if that does happen maybe the Citi card would be a good option?

Citi Dividend
- $100 reward after $500 spent in 3 months
- No Annual Fee
- %1 Reward on all purchases
- %5 Rewards on bonus categories

As far as discover vs citi , i think discover is better because of the shopdiscover, but that is more of an personal preference. There is no signup bonus for discover tho, and its also not accepted as much.
I'm not sure how much I'll be able to capitalize on the bonus sign ups really. I know I can do the AMEX and CS rewards because that's about $1500 over 3 months, any more than that and I'm sure I'll be able to or not.

If you do an lot of online shopping i think discover it i worth it, 5%+ on an lot of online stores.
Remember to use the creditcards.com "Offers matched to you" feature to get a much better deal on the Amex BCP. Bigger bonus with less spend required. And a great APR.

As much as I avoid annual fee cards (at this age) like the plague, I did get a pre-screened offer for BCP with $250 signup bonus...which is 3 annual fees worth and then some So check your offers too.
