Looks like I might be getting the Delta Card...

Just now I checked the Amex App Status. Earlier Delta App was listed as canceled/ declined.

Now it shows as  in progress / check back in 24 Hours.

Looks like the letters I have asked my Broker and Atty to send to Amex might have worked?  

Do you think I am geting the Delta card finally? Or is it excitement for nothing?

Let us see what happens in the next 24 hours with this application.

I'll wait couple of days and if I dont see any update on the App Status then, I'll call them and followup. I am bit tired of calling these guys at Amex about this Application. I have been talking with them since Nov/2007 about  this Delta Sky Miles Application.

Heck with the Delta Card. I just called and talked to Amex about the Delta App in question. They want to talk to my Atty who sent the letter and confirm he infact sent the letter to them. On top of that they want my last 2 years Tax Returns. As far as I am concerned, they can take hike with their card. I am done with this Harassment from Amex. I have never seen any one ask me to provide 2 year Tax Returns to approve a subprime Credit Card. I am sorry you guys in the Delta Club, I can not join your league.

Oh man, sooo sorry to hear that. totally bogus to ask for last 2 years W-2. Get ready for more AA down the road, sorry to inform you.

They need to talk to ya atty, don't they believe what you told them, since you already got the Elite Plat card. Thats how they treat their Elite customers.....

I am done with any thing to do with Delta Card App. Need to have peace and quite in life. I'll not have any thing to do with Amex Delta any more in my life. Pretty bad experience. I was never treated like this by any in my life.
