@Anonymous wrote:Many thanks to all who have offered input! All things considered, I think I'm gonna go the Venture&QS route. I really need a card with travel awards with no forex fees, so the venture should suit me for now. Then back to the garden I go until I can meet the 5/24 requirement by Chase. Thanks again!
Sounds like a good plan.
If you want to get the Cash+, you should go to a US Bank branch to apply. They are somewhat difficult to get started with, particularly with the Cash+ first, but if they deny the Cash+, they may give you the CashRewards or another card. You can then work that with some spend while you garden. My CashRewards card (was something else when I first got it in 2009) I just PC'd to be my second Cash+ card this month, and that is because when the CSR checked, my CashRewards had already been tagged in the system as eligible to upgrade to Cash+. So PC'ing from something else up to the Cash+ is a realistic pathway.
Did you apply? what was the outcome? hope it went well!! If you havent apply, good luck!!
Won't be apping til November, when inqs from last spree are beyond their 12 month mark. Just wanted to have a firm plan beforehand. And I will update this thread, most definitely ![]()
