Lowe's Advantage rebranding

Received the following email a few minutes ago.  Looks like Lowe's is rebranding their Advantage card.

Dear Cardholder,

The Lowe’s® Advantage Card will become the MyLowe’s Rewards Credit Card on 3/7/24. Please be aware that though the name and look of the credit card will be different, there is no action required from you.

I hope they don't get rid of the 5% discount.  It ads up over time.

Got the same thing, my only concern is Sync been nerfing many of thier cards in past few months 😒

Feels like Lowe's & Synchrony have been together forever a quick search turned this up and indeed they have since 1979. It's the only credit card partner they have ever had. In 2018 they signed a multi year deal but the release doesn't state how many years.

I highly suspect the 5% is going bye bye and being replaced by a points reward to not save money but instead use those pints or reward cash to buy more stuff.
