No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
4th statement due to cut today and considering requesting a CLI.
Do they only soft TU? That is all I've noticed thus far. When you submit request, is it on the last soft pull or do they do a new soft pull right then?
If you request via luv button, do you enter an amount you want, or is it just whatever they want to give you? If I'm not happy with it, can I then call credit solutions and ask for more?
Thanks!!
IMHO just call credit solutions that seems to get larger CLI.

+1
For best results in achieving a more flexible CLI, contact the Credit Solutions team. AFAIK, they would have the most recent CR info (SP) on file versus what's used through the online method.

The lub button uses the last periodic SP that they have on file for you.
With GE cards, you enter your annual income, and the system, decides what (if any) increase you will receive based on that number.
I agree with the other commenters though - call in. The reps on the phone can often approve an increase even when the luv button system says no.
I apped for this card in April. I was given a CL of 800$ I called in to recon a higher credit line and it was bumped to 1200$. I used the online CLI button in Sept and it bumped me to 2700$. I did a CLI today and was bumped to 6700. I have done them both online. GE is generous but I always go by the 4 mo 1 day rule. Not waiting the 1 day will result in a message like "you have not been at your current credit limit long enough" message/mailed notice or variation of it. I keep track of all of my cards in a spreadsheet that lists out each of the opening dates closing dates and anniversary dates along with the dates of the CLI's so I don't ever overlap or miscalculate the time between CLI requests apps and so on. This prevents unessesary activity on my accounts that may be flagged AA. Personally, I have had more luck with the CLI button than with Reps where GECRB is concerned.
Started at $2K in May 2013.
4 statements later hit LUV button, went to $3500. I decided to call in approximately 1 week later and asked for $7500 which was approved.
2 statements later I was looking for a boost for DTI. Called in and asked for $12.5K, approved.
Calling in does seem to work better.
