So annoyed, I've been stuck at $17K on Lowes for about a year, the last letter I received said I reached the max allowed limit for their credit. I know this isn't true, wth?

The decision isn't based on the max exposure in general as far as SYNCB goes.  They are simply stating the most they are wiling to extend to you at that point in time when the request was made.  It's based on a variety of factors, some can get higher others simply need to wait.  And, 17K on a Lowes card isn't that bad IMO.

Re: Lowes question

Just applied for the Lowes Card in anticipation of using it to buy Reno items on a house I'm hoping will close in my favor and got a starting CLI of $3000. Once I applied I created an online account and requested through phone call a CLI to $30000 and was instantly approved. Never hurts to shoot high and get counter offered if not instantly approved.

Re: Lowes question

I applied online a few weeks ago. Received a message to give them a call. It was to late that night so I did Sunday morning. I was approved for $2K after a few questions. I think ask if they could increase that. Was transfered to another department to go over that. Asked for $10K and was approved. Some members suggested that I call back and ask for more so I did the next day. Requested $20K and was approved for $17K. Doesn't hurt to ask!
