@Anonymous wrote:Discover has been good to me lately. They have a pre qualifier. Go try it.
Actually they don't have a pre qualifier. it is completly useless. as mickey mouse will qualify. but they discover do like thin files and if not too many baddies. they will approve you.
@Repairman wrote:Interesting. How many lates do you have? What types of lates? And how recent are they? I have 2 or 3 lates from 10 months ago.
I have 120+ day lates in two SL accounts in 2009. Also, 60/90 in june and july 2012.
There was a thread froma guy a week ago who had mid upper 700's and got $500 CL. spin the wheel I guess.

630's for some people for whatever reason
Guilty.
I got mines with a 630 in November they pulled eq and ex. CL of 1500
3 months later my score went up to 740. Made me do a hard pull for only 500 dollar cli.
i used the luv button today and got it to 5000 via soft pull with a 760 tu score.
I got my Discover sitting on about 670, but at the start it was only $750.

Ditto. I had low 600s when I got my Discover in 2011. $1500 CL. At the time, I couldn't get any card with no AF.
Got mine as a prescreened offer my mail. My file was started in June after being blank for years with an au card from Cap one with a $750 limit and a Wal mart au card with a $600 limit. Both were opened in June. In Sept a newly opened FBNO card with a $1300 limit with me as an au was put on my file. In Dec got the Discover approved with a $500 limit, the first card in my name on my piggybacked file. After clawing and digging got a $300 increase last week to $800.
My paperwork when I got the card said my EX score was 727. Of course I had a thin file and probably 20% utilization on it then which would account for the high score.
