My Amazon card started at a whopping $700. Now it is at 14k. I use it all the time...

Thanks MusicLover! My card is still pretty new, I will get there. Just glad to hear there is not as low of a ceiling as i thought.
@Anonymous wrote:I just wanted to see where MyFico users were at with the Amazon Prime store card. What is your Highest CL you have? whether it be at Apply, or years after the fact.
$25K requested at opening at the end of May this year. However, don't just poll about highest CL. As with any creditor, your credit profile and your income will play the major roles in determining the limit and CLI's that you qualify for. Just because others are able to get $X doesn't necessarily mean that you will.
If you do want to just collect data points don't overlook resources such as the Credit Pulls Database (Google to find).
@Anonymous wrote:Started at 500, am now 3100 have had it a little under a year. Just curious on what their "Max Limits" are for this card so i know when to put efford into something else.
Looking at your signature I'd guess that your profile is your limiting factor -- not Synchrony or the card itself. Don't assume it's just about the creditor and/or product. That's only half of the matter. Your credit and your income are also major considerations.
Initial approval $3,000. Chat and requested $6,000. Started reading these boards and eventually called in on my 3 Sync cards (Lowe's, Marvel and Amazon) and each are at $25,000. Don't plan to rock the boat for more....

I understand, The reason for me asking that specific question was to see if there was a "celing" for the amazon prime card. I wanted to know for personal gain.

Wow! Tj, id definitely say you are a true amazonian!! With that kind of spend i hope one day they give you the limit you want. This card and its limits may be useless to some but for those such as yourself its like having a platinum Amex. Its funny how some one could have a 20000 limit and not use it where someone has a 5000 and uses it like it was candy
. Anyway, agree with UncleB as the Sams club mastercard seems to be a really good big hitter. Definitly keep us posted as you rise with your amazon journey
I agree 100% with you AverageJoe! Everyone has different desires, and mine is amazon! lol.

I have had my card for 8 months. Started at $1000. Called and it went to $6000 after 3 months. Recently called, asked for and received a raise to $10000. I can't imagine wanting any more than that.
$30k - asked over chat a few months after opening, got forwarded to phone rep. (Early 2016)
They didn't counter-offer (asked for $30k, got $30k), so max could very well be higher.
Should have opened the card earlier, really. For as much as we use Amazon, the 5% back and the $30k limit have been great.
Obviously, YMMV.
