I have heard about that, but there must be another "area" they look at. Perhaps "average time on account before closing" I had 10 new accounts at the time chase sent out my pre approval for the freedom unlimited 3500CL card. It would make a lot more sense they would not only look at new accounts but average time of individual accounts as well. I know finance and what the banks like to see been working in the field for 12 years now. I am no Card Churner.
